It was a day of hills and sun and hills and heat, and did I mention hills? The ride distance wasn't great, just 44 miles, and the elevation change was only 2000 feet, but it took us 4 1/2 hours ( saddle time) to get to our destination, Alpine.
Note - I'm going to be using miles and Farenheit degrees, just because that's how the maps read, and the weather is announced.
We camped next to a large Indian casino, and took advantage of their buffet for dinner, on ACA. Day 3, the cooking rotation begins. I think I'm first up on Day 5. Not looking forward to that experience.
